Coloured Peck

I took part in an exhibition questioning ownership, asking whether it is important that the artist's name be present on the piece. I decided to create 45 prints of the same picture which was a collage I made back in 2009. I wanted to spend time on each print and make each one special and different from the next.

Then at the exhibition I gave 44 visitors a print to sign their own name and take it away with them.
The idea was to prove that even though there is a name other than my own present on the piece, it was still recognised as my work. The idea worked very well and I intend to revisit this concept in the future.
